Dark skin around vagina treatment -

Itching, reddening, rough skin and dryness in the vagina region is an array of symptoms, seen commonly due to various causes. These result in improper sexual life, thereby causing problems in marriage. Redness and tenderness around the vagina is contributed by Candida albicans, a yeast infection.

Usage of birth pills, pregnancy, diabetes, menopause and stress are common predisposing factors. Vulvar drematitis is triggered by irritants from detergents, shampoos, creams, toilet paper and powders. Syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomaniasis are other infections that might contribute to rough vaginal skin.

Bleeding, occurrence of lumps, tenderness and itching of the vaginal region indicates vulval cancer. Diagnostic tests are essential to confirm the condition. Improper usage of a razor or hair remover also contributes to rough skin. Remedies at home level are better avoided. Take the guidance of a physician or gynaecologist to help you better.
