Treatment for stomach ache - In order to treat a stomach ache it is important to first determine what is causing a stomach ache. There are many things that can cause your stomach to hurt. Your stomach can hurt because of ulcers, indigestion, heartburn, food poisoning, food allergies, overeating, and simply because you are sick.
Generally however, drinking hot or iced peppermint tea with 1tsp. Of Ginger will help soothe most stomach issues. If your stomach and hurts because ulcers, the best thing you can take is MSM. This will stop the pain and inflammation of ulcers within twenty minutes. If taken on a daily basis it will also help heal ulcers over time. Drinking plenty of water will also help soothe most stomach complaints. Occasionally, a carbonated beverage such as Ginger ale is especially helpful as the carbonation breaks up the stomach acid and the Ginger soothes your entire digest of system. If your stomach hurts only after certain meals you should try to determine what foods are causing your stomach to hurt so you can avoid them in the future as you’re probably allergic to them. One of the most common food allergies that cause your stomach to hurt is lactose intolerance.
