Morease tablets - What are its uses and side effects if any?

Morease tablets queries

The active ingredient in morease tablets is mebeverine hydrochloride and is used for conditions like irritable bowel syndrome and spasm of the gut muscle. Mebeverine hydrochloride helps to relieve the painful muscle spasm by causing the muscles in the gut to relax. The tablets should be swallowed (not chewed) 20 minutes before the meals. If you are a patient with irritable bowel syndrome then this tablet would help to keep a food and lifestyle diary which will help to monitor your activity and symptoms.

Like many medications morease can also cause certain side effects like inflamed skin, redness, itchiness and rash. This common side effect affects less than 1 person out of 10. Any signs or symptoms that you are allergic to the medication should be brought in notice of your specialist to act promptly. Consult your specialist immediate if you have swelling of the tongue, lips or the entire face.
