Home cures for middle back pain
- Muscle strain, poor posture or improper nutrition are some of the causes of backache.
- Swallow 3 cloves of garlic with water on an empty stomach after getting up in the morning regularly.
- Heat at least 10 cloves of garlic in coconut oil, sesame oil or mustard oil and massage your back with this oil everyday before going to sleep at night.
- Mix the juice of 1 lemon with common salt and consume it twice daily.
- Take about 2000 mg of Vitamin C daily till your backache lasts.
- Make a poultice of raw potato and apply it to your back.
- A small piece of the fruit called Chebulic Myroblan should be eaten daily after having meals.
- Do hot fermentation to the back. Alternate fermentation with cold and hot compress will also provide relief from pain.
- If you have to work for long hours sitting in one position, try to get up in between for a few minutes and stretch your back. Try to sit straight in the chair and not in a slanting position.
- Seasonal fruits, raw vegetable salads, milk, juices and soups should be your staple diet. You should have 5-6 meals during the day and drink lots of water.
- Exercise regularly and avoid tea, coffee, spicy and hot foods.
