Alternative cures for heel spur pain
Do not walk barefoot if you are suffering from heel spur pain as it will stretch the ligaments and increase instability of your gait.
Wear shoes which have a heel of around 1 inch. This will take the pressure away from your heels.
Use a pair of arch supports made of sponge rubber and heel cups to alleviate the stress from your heels.
Massage your heels regularly and use your thumb to apply pressure on the area.
Wrap some crushed ice in a soft cotton cloth and apply it to your heels for 10 to 15 minutes.
Repeat this cold compress several times a day.
You can also warm up your heels with the help of a heating pad to ease pain as well as increase blood circulation.
Avoid wearing high heels and use flat heeled and comfortable foot wear.
Exercise your calf muscles and stretch them to relax the muscles.
Soak a cotton cloth in apple cider vinegar and wrap it around your heels and cover it with a plastic sheet. Leave it overnight and massage your heels with some oil after removing it.
Drink Alfalfa tea 4 to 5 times a day for a month and after that reduce it to every alternate day.
