Alternative cures for weight loss

I am 33 year old i want to lose my weight but i can't do it please, give me some tips. Also my son's complexion is dark,pl advise.

The most effective way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more. However, if you find this difficult  here are some tips which could help you:

1. Eat a variety of foods with the essential nutrients but with the goal of effecting weight loss.


2. Choose low calorie foods.  Avoid sweets, cakes, ice cream, sweet desserts, candies, pies, and chocolates.  Have fresh fruits for desert instead.



3. Eat less fat.  Trim visible fats from your meat before cooking.

4. Eat only a maximum of 3 egg yolks/week.

5. Reduce intake of salty foods.  

6. Drink at least 8 glasses of water/day between meals.

7. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol.

8. Avoid milk shakes, chocolate drinks, soft drinks, sweetened juices.

9. Increase fiber intake - vegetables, whole grains, fruits.

10. Choose legumes, fish, poultry , and veal which contain less fat and cholesterol than pork or beef.

11. Cook food plainly. Avoid butter or fattening sauces.  

12. Eat regularly.  never skip any meal especially breakfast.

13. Avoid in-between meals. Drink water instead.

14. Eat a good breakfast and lunch and have a light supper, which should be taken at least 3 hours before bedtime.  

 Dark complexion--- The color of our skin is hereditary.  However, there are ways by which this could be lightened such as avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun and using skin lightening lotions or soaps.
