I have a very dry scalp only in one area,it itches alot and it seems like my whole head is now getting dry.

A member in my family has very dry itchy scalp. We were told by our doctor that the most common way to help it is to moisturize the scalp. It sounds very discusting but soak your head with johnstons baby oil and keep a towel on your shoulders to catch the drips if any. After about 5 minutes, shampoo your hair really really well. Maybe even a couple of times. If you do this over the course of a few days and then keep this up once or twice a week there after the problem should go away.
