Remedies and cures for sore throat
Which over the counter medicine can I take to cure my sore throat?

Natural cures for sore throat
- Add 1 tbs of common salt in 1 glass of water and heat it. Gargle with this 3 to 4 times a day.
- Mix 2 or 3 drops of cinnamon oil in 1 tsp of honey and consume it.
- Mix 1 tsp of cinnamon powder, 2 tsp of honey and a pinch of pepper to 1 glass of water and boil it. It provides immediate relief form a sore throat.
- Boil a few henna leaves in 1 glass of water and gargle with it twice a day.
- You can drink the water boiled with the leaves of holy basil or gargle with it.
- Boil some tea leaves in 1 cup of water, strain it and either drink it or gargle with it.
- Pour boiling water on a handful of sage leaves and when it cools, add a little vinegar and honey to it. Take 1 tsp of it internally and gargle with the rest of the solution.
- Chew a small piece of Liquorice or suck it for few minutes. It offers respite from inflammation.
- Soak some tamarind in 1 glass of water and gargle with it once a day.
- Take hot Epsom salt bath regularly till your sore throat lasts.
