Natural remedies to prevent hair loss
  • Rinse your hair with sage tea and apple cider vinegar.
  • Horsetail contains silica which is important for strong shiny hair.
  • Massage your scalp with 10 drops of tea tree oil and shampoo your hair.

Tea tree oil kills bacteria which may be the reason for hair loss.
  • At night before going to bed, apply castor oil, olive oil or almond oil to your scalp and then comb your hair with a thick comb for about 5 to 7 minutes. This will increase blood circulation.

Wash your hair in the morning and apply conditioner to it.
  • A diet rich in fruits and vegetables is good for natural protection and growth of hair.
  • Include soy foods in your diet and do not eat excess of vitamin A.
  • Avoid raw eggs and eat foods that are high in biotin.
  • Dip a towel in boiling water, squeeze it and cover your head with it till it cools. Do this for about 5-7 minutes twice a day.
  • Massage your hair with coconut oil or mustard oil at night and shampoo in the morning.
  • Wear a shower cap when going in seawater and protect it from overexposure to sunlight. Never rub your hair vigorously when it is wet but gently pat it to dry.
