Appendicitis removal and general digestion-

If appendicitis is severe and removed surgically there may be some lag

in digestion and intestinal motility. This will last for some days after the

removal then the body's natural mechanism will adapt and act fully as it

should and lead the normal digestion .There can be a faster digestion

also because of operation relatively.

Otherwise appendix is a vetigeal organ there isn't much of a change

upon digestion.
