Indigestion can even occur without any disease condition if one overindulges himself in wrong eating habits. To improve digestion and avoid indigestion follow the following simple home remedies –
Mix lemon juice in a glass of warm water and drink this 2-3 times a day.
Aniseeds and carom seeds also help to relieve indigestion.
Have half tsp after eating meals.
Mix equal parts of water and baking soda and drink immediately after mixing it. This is a very effective remedy for indigestion.
Avoid overindulgence in eating and eat a balanced meal emphasizing on whole cereals and less of refined foods.
Be physically active. Don’t sleep immediately after having a meal. Avoid smoking as far as possible.
