Treatment to Remove Wood Splinters-
Dip the finger with the wood splinter in dilute acetic acid solution for 2-3 minutes. Splinter will be out.
Just soak the finger for 5-10 minutes in warm water.
The splinter comes out smoothly after soaking due to softening of the skin.
If it still embedded in the flesh then removal with needle is necessary. Its very important to gently remove the splinter so that it does not break.
