Treatment to remove wood splinters

Do "wood" splinters automatically work there way out of the tip your fingers after time; or do I have to remove the "wood" splinter with a needle.

Treatment to Remove Wood Splinters-

  • Dip the finger with the wood splinter in dilute acetic acid solution for 2-3 minutes. Splinter will be out.
  • Just soak the finger for 5-10 minutes in warm water.

The splinter comes out smoothly after soaking due to softening of the skin.
  • If it still embedded in the flesh then removal with needle is necessary. Its very important to gently remove the splinter so that it does not break.
  • Homeopathy has a medicine called Silica 6 c 5 pills. Take it 2 times a day for 2 days. It starts exudation at this site and splinter is out naturally.
