There are several things you can do to change the pH of your vagina and strengthen your immune system to break this cycle. To palliate some of your symptoms, use a brief regime of boric acid capsules and acidophilus suppositories. Use castor oil packs for at least 4-5 nights in a row each week for several months to begin strengthening your immune system.
Avoid refined carbohydrates and inflammatory foods (the top ten foods which cause inflammation) and concentrate on eating whole, unprocessed foods which emphasize dark green leafy vegetables and complex carbohydrates. Consult a trained health care professional if you do not see an improvement in a couple of weeks. Dr. Karen Benton, Naturopathic Physician
