for the past one week i am having cuts on the side edges of my tongue. I am finding even mildly spiced food diffcult to eat. Please send me a home remedy for it so that i can get some relief. thanx

  • Wash and coat the sore for a few seconds with milk of magnesia.
  • Taking zinc supplements are beneficial.
  • Take a little earwax from your ear and apply it to the sore. Its antiseptic value helps.
  • Rinse the mouth with a strong tea made of goldenseal root.
  • Coffee, spices, citrus fruit, nuts high in the amino acid arginine (especially walnuts), chocolate, and strawberries irritate sores/cuts.
  • Eat yogurt daily.
  • Avoid coffee, spicy & salty foods , and citrus fruits.
  • Alum is an antiseptic and pain reliever that can prevent the infection from getting worse.
  • Rinse your mouth with a mixture of one tbsp of hydrogen peroxide in eight ounces of water.
  • Apply a wet black tea bag to the ulcer.
  • A thin paste of baking of soda and water applied to the sore brings relief.
  • Squeeze the oil from a Vitamin E capsule onto the canker sore, several times per day is helpful.
  • Take 500 milligrams of vitamin C with bioflavornoids three times a day for the next three days.
