Question on blood in vagina

If this happens on a regular monthly basis and lasts from 4-7 days, then it is your normal menstrual cycle and results from changing balances of  estrogen, progesterone, leutenizing and follicular stimulating hormones in your body as part of a woman's normal reproductive cycle.  If this is happening after some trauma, you need to consult a trained health care practitioner to ensure you do not have an injury to your tissues.
