I have a abscessed tooth and my mouth is swollen how can i get the swelling down?I have tried tea bags on the area.I am also putting ice on it. what else can i do?

Take equal parts of Baking Powder and table salt.Mix the two together with a little water to make a thin paste.Apply this mixture to a piece of cotton wool and place it next to the abscess.
Results within half an hour.
If mouth is to sore make the above thinner and keep rinsing mouth with it.
