Exercise is very important and is considered as a cornerstone in preventing or controlling hypertension. Moderate intensity exercise are recommended which includes brisk walking, biking rather than vigorous intensity exercise like running as the latter one tends to increase the heart rate at a greater pace. Although few years back vigorous intensity exercises were recommended, newer guidelines suggest moderate intensity exercise to control blood pressure with minimum risks.
I would recommend you to do brisk walking for 30-35 minutes a day instead of jogging and all days in a week instead of just 4-5 days which you do regularly. This will help you along with your medications to keep your blood pressure under control and avoid any adverse effects like dehydration or cardiovascular risks.
