Home remedy for head lice- 1. A good home remedy is common salt. Take 1 tsf salt in a jug of water and pour it on the scalp to start with. Keep this water for 10 minutes. Wash the hair with a natural herbal shampoo containing Arnica and Calendula. 2. An effective home remedy is an application of a paste made from egg white, Vaseline and olive oil. Apply this paste on the scalp and hair. Massage gently for 5 minutes. Leave it overnight. Then wash hair with warm water in the morning cleaning up all the sludge in the hair thereby removing lice and its eggs. Eggs and lice get anoxic and die and can be easily removed with a lice comb. Repeat this once a week for 2 months. 3. A good homeopathic remedy for lice is Sabadilla Mother tincture. Add 1 tsf tinture to 4 tsf's of coconut oil and apply it on the scalp and hair. Massage gently and keep it overnight. Wash the hair with a natural shampoo in the morning.
