Treatment for ear clogging
Ears often get clogged and you find yourself hearing everything as though you were underwater. There could be a variety of reasons for ears to clog. Several people notice that their ears clog after they have traveled by air. Still others complain of clogged ears after swimming. However, the most common reason for clogged ears is an infection. Sometimes an infection of the throat affects the ears and they get clogged. If you are suffering from a throat infection, your clogged ears are linked to that. If you notice any discharge from your ears or if you experience any kind of pain, then you should visit your doctor and seek help.
A simple way to get your ears to pop is to yawn widely several times in quick succession. Some people find that swallowing hard often helps clear the obstruction. Chewing something often makes it easier to swallow, rather than just swallowing. You will notice that your ears open up. If the condition persists despite several attempts to unclog your ears, then you should see your doctor who may be able to help you remove the obstruction so that you can hear again.
If your clogged ears are linked to your throat infection, then you should try to cure the throat by drinking plenty of hot water with some honey and half a lemon squeezed into it.
