Treatment for painful gas

Excessive gas is what you are probably referring to. Gas is generated in our body because of the food we eat. However, it poses a problem when it is excessive and the body releases it.

This can be embarrassing; primarily because of the noise it makes and the smell that accompanies it. If you have been suffering from painful gas for some time now, it is probably advisable to visit your doctor.

Posture is very important for those who suffer from gas.

Sit up straight at a table during your meals. East slowly and chew your food well.

Try to avoid food that causes gas. These are broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes. Eat light food, especially at night. Try to walk for a little while soon after a meal. Sipping hot water after a meal can help you feel light and ensure that there is no gas being built up.

Mix one pinch of asafetida with a drop of water. This will form a sticky paste.  Apply this to your abdomen, especially to the area around your belly button. You can also consume a pinch of asafetida. Since asafetida has very strong smell and taste, simply secrete the asafetida in a small piece of molasses or brown sugar and eat. Drink warm water after this.
