Back pain and kidney problems- Yes back pain may be due to a renal calculi or swelling of the renal tissue due to any cause. This is perhaps possible but even muscular problems may lead to pain in the back. Bad posture and type of job sitting positions may cause back ache.
It can be an infective lesion in the back such as a tubercle in tubercular spine. So please diagnose with proper tests before getting panic for anything. Go for a back x ray, sonography of whole abdomen and if necessary do an M.
R.I spine to rule out any hidden cause of such a pain.
