Rheumatism is chronic autoimmune disease that involves inflammation and pain in the joints, connective tissues or muscles. Rheumatism symptoms depends largely on the underlying disorder; common symptoms include severe joint pain, swelling and redness in the joints, fever, pain, stiffness in the muscles, lung symptoms, heart symptoms and eye symptoms.
