Cause and treatment of dry socket in tooth after extraction.

1. The cause for dry socket is due to loss of blood clot from the surgery

site  thus it leads to exposure of bone surface and nerve endings that

cause such a phenomenon and thereaby pain ,if any food particle

adheres or enters this socket.

2. One should avoid sucking  actions ,coughing ,sneezing ,spitting etc .


Also avoid hormone pills .Anti coagulant drugs like acetyl salicylic acid

are too bad .

3. Precaution and care after extraction is very essential.


Proper

 application of gauze with antiseptic .Proper rinsing gently.
