IM 42 YRS,OPERATED FOR MITRAL VALVE STENOSIS 3 YRS BACK.I HAVE PERIORBITAL EDEMA,FACIAL PUFFINESS,PEDAL EDEMA(PITTING TYPE).NW DOING(PT TEST)EVERY MTH,SHLD I GO FOR ANY OTHER SPECIFIC TESTS?

Question on periorbital edema-
Please do Kidney profile and also electro cardiogram with heart X ray's to rule out kidney function and output, cardiomegaly respectively.
Also go for Thyroid profile to check hypothyroidism.
Go to an accupressurist and check out the various points of pain that exhibits as swelling and periorbital edema. Pressure all these points after proper guidance.
