QUESTION ON PERIORBITAL EDEMA
IM 42 YRS,OPERATED FOR MITRAL VALVE STENOSIS 3 YRS BACK.I HAVE PERIORBITAL EDEMA,FACIAL PUFFINESS,PEDAL EDEMA(PITTING TYPE).NW DOING(PT TEST)EVERY MTH,SHLD I GO FOR ANY OTHER SPECIFIC TESTS?

Question on periorbital edema- - Please do Kidney profile and also electro cardiogram with heart X ray's to rule out kidney function and output, cardiomegaly respectively.
- Also go for Thyroid profile to check hypothyroidism.
- Go to an accupressurist and check out the various points of pain that exhibits as swelling and periorbital edema.
Pressure all these points after proper guidance.
