The symptoms of a bladder infection are urgent and frequent need for urination and dysuria, which is the burning sensation while urinating. The other symptoms of the affliction are pain in the abdomen and back and pelvic pressure, sometimes accompanied by fever and chills.
An infection of the bladder may be cured by various home remedies, some of which are as follows:
  • You are recommended to eat foods rich in Vitamin C as the latter is instrumental in acidifying the urine which in turn helps in potentially reducing the population of harmful microorganisms in the urinary tract.
  • You must consume a lot of fluids as fluids act as diuretic which serve to flush the infectious bacteria out of the urinary tract or bladder, thereby alleviating the symptoms of bladder infection.
  • You are recommended to drink cucumber juice with honey and lemon juice to cleanse your urinary tract and thereby assuage the symptoms of the ailment.
  • It is a good idea to consume a cup of freshly extracted juice of radish leaves every morning on an empty stomach.
  • You may also consume lemon juice in hot water so as to relieve the inflammation, burning sensation, and pain in the urinary tract.
  • You may consume spinach juice mixed with an equal volume of coconut water to relieve the symptoms of the bladder infection.
You are advised to consult a doctor so as to diagnose the exact cause of the ailment and cure the affliction accordingly.
