Without knowing what kind of spots you are talking about, it is very difficult to give a good answer on this one. I am going to assume liver spots or age spots as these are the most common. As their name indicates, they are caused by a poorly functioning liver…something that is common in the elderly.
The best way to get these to go away is by taking milk thistle and dandelion to help the liver function increase. Drinking plenty of pure water will help flush additional toxins out of your system.
To temporarily minimize the appearance of liver spots, you can make up a paste of lemon juice, hydrogen peroxide, and sugar.
Apply this paste to the spots and let it soak for 30 minutes before washing off with warm water. Do this twice daily and follow up with a good moisturizer like cocoa butter or shea butter. Avoid exposing your hands to the sun for long periods of time as this can make the spots appear darker as they tan just like the rest of your skin. Wear gloves when gardening or if you are going to be outside for a long time. If the spots are on your face, wear a sun hat when outside to protect your face.
