While this is not a serious problem or a cause of concern, it can be annoying. The best way to deal with this is to brush your teeth frequently, floss, and scrape your tongue. The problem will go away in a few months.

A warm salt water gargle once daily is helpful as well. If you are taking blood pressure medication, this may be the cause and you need to see your doctor about getting a different kind of medication. Washing your mouth out with yarrow tea will help in case of an infection of the gums.

Also using a mouth wash of mint and warm water will help remove the unpleasant taste from your mouth. Drinking lots of water can help flush out your system in case you have some extra toxic build up, but really this problem will go away on its own if you just wait it out and treat the symptoms to avoid being miserable.  You can actually create a mouth wash from cilantro as well by boiling a couple of ounces of fresh cilantro in two cups of water. Strain off the cilantro and either drink it as a tea or use it as a mouth wash.
