The best treatment for batholin cysts is silver solution. A several month treatment routine with 30 drops of silver solution in a glass of water twice a day is the best. Depending on where the cyst is located, another very effective treatment is with black root salve.
Black root salve draws the cyst to the surface and out of the body by way of the skin. This can be very painful, but it does work quickly. It is not advisable for various areas of the body including the vaginal area do to the sensitivity of the area. To help relieve symptoms, soaking in a warm back or applying a warm wash cloth to the area will help. Taking a pain reliever like White Willow Bark is also a good idea. Keeping the area clean is most beneficial to speed up the healing process, as with anything. If your cyst is in the vaginal area, make sure you wear cotton panties and change them twice daily. Most of these cysts do heal on their own, but treatment can help speed things along. If yours does not heal, then you should seek the help of a specialist to see what other treatment is needed.
