Hemorrhoids are caused by several things including child birth and pregnancy, but the most common is straining when having a bowel movement. Obviously, the solution to this problem is to change your diet or supplementation to where you no longer have to strain to have a bowel movement. Here are some things you can do:
- Eat whole grains instead of processed white flour products.
- Take a fiber supplement
- Drink plenty of water
- Increase the amount of magnesium in your diet as well as all other minerals.
- Don’t try to rush. I know this is probably embarrassing to read, but take your time when in the toilet.
Relax, read a book, look at a magazine, or something similar to relax and let nature to its thing. - Take a natural laxative
- Do an herbal colon cleanse to help clean out your system. The average person has 12 to 20 pounds of impacted waste in their system at any give time. By removing this waste, your entire digestive system will work much better.
To treat the discomfort of hemorrhoids once you have them, a zinc and fishoil cream will help to soothe the inflammation. The other thing that is helpful is using cocoa butter cream on the afflicted area.
