Nasal drainage can be very irritating at times when the mucus fails to come out even after repeated tries. Try these home remedies which will help you to clear your nasal drainage - - Include lots of fluid in a day. Drink an herbal tea made by boiling grated ginger, honey, mint leaves, basil leaves and lemon juice in water. This will help to clear the throat and stop nasal drainage.
- Try to clear the nose and throat by removing all the possible mucus, but don’t get obsessed and leave your nose with rashes.
- Warm salt water gargles when done 3-4 times a day are also very beneficial.
- Steam taken from boiling water will also help to clear the nasal passage, soothe the throat. Add carom seeds or a vaporizer in the water.
- Avoid the allergen if it is due to some allergy. Also avoid spicy, oily or fried foods that help to trigger the nasal drainage.
