The following points are too important to forget in rheumatoid arthritis. - To get relief from the pain of rheumatoid arthritis it is very important to lose the extra pounds you have gained. As more overweight you are more is the pressure put on the joints and knees which in turn increases the stress on the cartilage causing inflammation, pain, and swelling.
- Move, don’t sit at one place. For proper joint alignment moving correctly is very important. A physiotherapist or a yoga instructor can help you with the same.
- Apply vitamin E oil in the night over the joints to avoid morning stiffness in the joints.
- Calcium taken in the form of calcium lactate will also be helpful. Consult a specialist for the exact supplements and the dosage.
- Avoid any kind of stress, may it be physical or emotional and learn to relax.
