Though these problems are not permanent they can be very annoying and uncomfortable. To get rid of ear block because of a sinus problem or air pressure swallowing several times can open up the blockage or at release it temporarily. Yawning with your mouth open as big as possible is another effective way of clearing a blockage. Putting a warm compress on the ear helps or even doing an inhalation with steaming hot water with your head covered with a towel.

Excessive secretion of ear wax results in blockage of ear. Flushing the ear with warm water helps. Rinsing the ear with hydrogen peroxide or cider vinegar is recommended under the guidance of a physician. An ENT might help you better!
