Crohn's disease is analogous to colitis, and results in inflammation of the intestinal tract. Medications to suppress the immunity are given. Inclusion of fresh fruits and vegetables and avoidance of sugar and saturated fats is recommended. Supplements might prove beneficial, under the guidance of a physician.
