Psyllium husk is basically soluble fiber which helps you to lose weight. The normal intake of fiber in a daily diet should be 25g - 30 g for men. However due to the lifestyle changes and junk food seeping in a normal person’s diet this requirement is not fulfilled in most of the cases.
Along with a well balanced diet enriched with 8-9 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables you can supplement your body with psyllium husk. Take 21 g psyllium husk in 3 divided doses in a day that is 7g thrice a day (considering that 9g fiber you would get from your daily diet).
