Thyroid disorder is a vast term that includes various conditions like hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, goiter or some thyroid hormonal problems. Symptoms for hyperthyroidism includes irritability, brittle hair, thinning of the skin, nervousness, increased perspiration, shaky hands, muscle weakness, insomnia, panic, weight loss, frequent bowel movements, less frequent and light menstrual flow. Symptoms for hypothyroidism include exhaustion, depression, fatigue, feeling sluggish, less ability to concentrate, itchy skin, dry thin hair, excessive weight gain, cold sensation in the extreme limbs, muscle cramps, constipation, excessive and frequent menstrual flow and infertility.


These symptoms are the most common ones, however each person may experience many other individualized symptoms and the severity for each would vary.

Planned diet, adequate rest and relaxation are the three major criteria’s to cure thyroid gland problems.
