Can Poison Ivy/Oak spread from person to person from the oozing blisters

No, it cannot spread from person to person from the oozing blisters. You can contract poison ivy only by coming into contact with urushiol, the plant leaf resin or oil. Scratching the rash can spread the oil and infection to different parts of the infected person’s body or to another allergic person only if the oil comes into contact with their skin.
