• Vitamin E caplets can be smeared on the scar area. It has a healing effect. A mixture of vitamin E caplets and aloe vera also helps to lighten the scar.
  
• Soak a cotton ball in blanched green tea. Apply this on the scar region to help heal faster.
  
• If your scar is too obvious and stubborn, you can use some make up tricks to hide it till it lightens.
