Health Advice on Remedy for Scar
Please suggest a remedy for an 1/8" long scar on my upper right lip.

Scars on the skin can be a result of a cut, or an injury. Some scars like acne scars can be treated easily but some scars leave a permanent mark on the face which can be only get rid with the help of a cosmetic surgery. Try the following home remedies for the scar on your lip –
- Lemon is a natural bleaching agent.
Apply lemon juice on the scar and leave it for 10 minutes.
- Dip a cotton ball in essential oil of lavender and apply over the scar region twice daily.
- Tea tree oil or olive oil when massaged on the scar regularly helps to lighten it.
- Vitamin E caplets can be smeared on the scar area. It has a healing effect. A mixture of vitamin E caplets and aloe vera also helps to lighten the scar.
- Soak a cotton ball in blanched green tea. Apply this on the scar region to help heal faster.
- If your scar is too obvious and stubborn, you can use some make up tricks to hide it till it lightens.
