I have c-diff and need help getting rid of it. I have taken antibiotics and now it is a few days later and I want to make sure I am cured

If you have taken your antibiotics and your symptoms no longer persist, chances are that you are “cured”. It is important to realize that a side effect of taking antibiotics is that they remove the good bacteria from your body as well as the bad (which caused your c-diff). Because the good bacteria help fight and prevent c-diff, you now need to replace them in your system.
The best way to do this is to drink or eat products with “live organisms” or Acidophilus in it. Most times it is found in milk or yogurt. You can also find pills of probiotics which will replace the millions of intestinal flora and bacteria that you are lacking due the antibiotic treatment.
If your symptoms are still there, you can take a natural antibiotic in the form of Olive Leaf extract. This is a super high powered natural antibiotic and works great for everything from the common cold to Bird Flu. As with prescription antibiotics, it is important to follow up treatment with probiotic therapy. Olive Leaf extract can be taken daily in lower amounts as a preventative measure against future flare ups as well, just make sure you also take probiotics daily to maintain the good bacteria in your intestinal tract.
