The best exercise to flatten your stomach is the one that takes no money and little time; crunches. Crunches are the easiest form of stomach exercises and you can do them without having to spend thousands at a gym. All you need in order to do this exercise is a flat surface, if you do not have an exercising mat, your bed will do. Lie flat on your back and keep your legs together. Fold your arms over your chest by putting your right hand to your left shoulder and your left hand to your right shoulder. Now lift slightly, not all the way to your knees as many people think is the correct way, just lift until you feel your top abdominal muscles tensing.
That’s for the top muscles, now the bottom muscles. Still lying flat on your back with your arms in the same position, lift your legs until your knees are bent and then stretch your legs out again by returning to the original position except not putting your legs down to rest. Do as many of these as your body allows, but don’t over do it. If you can only do five of each, that’s fine, go for ten the next day.
