Garlic is known to cure a lot of things, and toothache just happens to be one of its specialties. Take a garlic clove and dip it in rock salt. When the clove is covered with rock salt put it on the affected tooth and leave it there for a short while, approximately 10-15 minutes.
You can remove the clove after this time and determine if your tooth is still hurting, if it is, replace the clove after leaving the tooth for about ten minutes. You can also just suck the clove (this is not the best tasting remedy) if you wish, as it is effective both ways. Clove oil is another option, if you have some of this; apply it on the sore tooth and leave. If this works for you, repeat the process three times a day.
If you think that your toothache is from tooth decay, you should try drinking the juices of wheat grass as this is known to be very effective in caring for tooth decay. You should also use lime everyday to clean your mouth, just a quick rinse in the morning after breakfast and another quick rinse in the evening after dinner. This will help to maintain healthy teeth and prevent the return of toothache.
