Adding lots of garlic and onion to your diet might be a good start to lower the levels of your blood pressure. This is because garlic contains germanium and selenium and selenium is known to lower blood pressure, stop unusual blood clotting and to put off infections, while germanium has the ability to prevent the cause of cancer. Onions are the same, whether they are cooked or raw (although raw is more effective), they can help you in your struggle to lower your blood pressure.


Before all these medicines and operations of today’s technology were available, garlic and onions are all that were used to treat patients with high blood pressure. Add garlic and onions to your diet everyday or eat some raw garlic at least three times a day. It won’t taste very nice but it could produce the results you want.

Another effective remedy for high blood pressure is corn oil. The corn oil can be eaten with salads or any other foods that you think it will go with and disguise the taste slightly. It does not have to be consumed on its own; corn oil should always be put over food to treat high blood pressure.
