Purple pimple -

A purple pimple is itself a variant of acne simplex or acne vulgaris. It can also be an infection of lichen planus a bumpy papule or a pimple on skin.

Its purple appearance maybe due to blood streaking the pimple and is more prominent on fair skinned individuals.

The pimple type is though rare but often seen is dermatology.

Treatment goes same as you may treat any pimple eruption or if it's lichen then anti-mycotic or anti-bacterial treatment is essential.
