A heat stroke is usually experienced in climatic conditions where there is excessive heat or humid conditions. Sometimes a heat stroke can also be experienced due to conditions which are not completely environmental. Internal heat generated due to the consumption of excessive medications, may also cause a heat stroke to a person whose body is not strong enough to dissipate the heat.
Heat stroke occurs when the body sucks in more heat than it can dissipate. The body temperature rises when it is exposed to the extreme heat and humid conditions and fails to regulate and dissipate the heat, leading to heat strokes.

A person may even begin to hallucinate. The pulse becomes rapid and the person may experience breathlessness. If the condition is severe, the person may go unconscious or may even end up in a coma.
