When defining beauty and aesthetics of a person, especially a woman, the hair is known to play a very important role. Besides beauty is not the only thing that it defines, the general health of a person could be predicted just by looking at the hair. Hair care is therefore an important aspect in the lives of every human being but very often also the most neglected part of the body.
Proper hair care is essential for the general well being of the body.
You have mentioned that your once healthy hair has now lost its shine and also is become very thin. This could be a result of varied factors. Hair damage could result from weak and damaged hair follicles, and this could also lead to extreme hair loss. However you need to remember that people all over the world suffer from similar hair problems and there are a lot of remedies available to solve this problem. To understand the reason behind your hair damage in the past two years, you would need to look into the lifestyle changes that you have undergone during this time. Extreme temperatures are known to cause damage to the hair. Excessive exposure to sunlight, blow drying of hair, use of harmful hair creams and gels as well as excessive shampooing could cause your hair to become dry and weak
There are a lot of preventive as well as curative measures that you could use in order to improve the condition of your hair. Firstly avoid exposure of your hair to extreme temperatures. Use a scarf to cover your head whenever you step out in the sun. Also avoid constant use of blow dryers or straightening irons as they make the scalp dry and takes away the essential nutrients from the hair. Regular head massages using warm coconut oil or olive oil could prove to be very beneficial as these are rich in Vitamin E, which is essential for healthy hair. Wash your hair with cold water using herbal shampoo or a mild shampoo. Most shampoos available in the market tend to be very harmful to the hair and can cause considerable damage if used for a long period of time. Consuming the right kind of diet would go a long way in giving you the hair growth that you desire. Your diet should include foods like spinach, carrots, shellfish, salmon and lots of water to keep you well hydrated. Massage a mixture of whipped egg yolk and water for around 15 minutes on your scalp and then wash it off with normal water. This may leave a bad odor on your hair, but is a very effective remedy for damaged hair.
