Can castor oil make you go in early?

Yes it can. Castor oil is a laxative. It works on the intestine quickly (usually within 2-6 hours) and promotes evacuation of bowel contents.


It is not recommended for frequent use to treat constipation as it can hamper nutrient and mineral absorption by the small intestine.
