Acne can be caused by a number of things, including: diet, personal hygiene, genetics, and hormone changes. It is a very common problem in teenagers and even adults. There is no fast cure for acne.
Have patience and diligently treat or prevent acne breakouts by doing the following - 1. Avoid accessive scrubbing when washing your face, even though it is tempting! Use warm water and be sure to pat your face dry rather than rub it with the towel. 2. Avoid cosmetics such as concealer and blush, again these are very tempting because of their ability to cover up blemishes, but they just make your acne worse by clogging pores and traping skin oils on the skin where it then causes more blemishes. 3. Treat each blemish daily with a cotton ball or swab dipped in Tea Tree oil. In clinical studies, Tea Tree Oil is far more effective, even though it takes a little longer to work, than prescription acne treatments. It is also healthy for your skin as it improves skin tone and circulation. Tea Tree Oil works in several ways, it disinfects your skin, dries up skin oils, and heals blemishes. 4. Work on eating better and drink plenty of water. Drinking water helps flush the toxins out of your body, including your skin. By eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, you are providing your body with the nutrients it needs to produce beautiful, blemish free skin. Avoid foods that are known to cause acne such as: caffeine, pizza, soda, french fries, and chocolate.
