The primary principle is to assist the body to eliminate toxins. The main organs that help in the elimination process are lungs, kidneys, bowels and liver.

Tips for detoxification:
  • Hydration is an important aspect of detoxification. Consume lots of fluids in the form of fruit juices and mainly water. Make sure you’re consuming at least half your body weight measuring in ounces of clean water everyday.
  • Get adequate sleep. The body's cells have a tendency to get rid of toxins at night by the lymphatic channels.
  • Exercise religiously for a minimum of 30 minutes daily, in the form of aerobics or deep breathing exercises.
Natural remedies for detoxification:
  • Yogurt is very useful for internal cleansing. Individuals suffering from constipation, IBS, hemorrhoids will surely benefit from the consumption of yogurt.
  • In order to detoxify the kidney, drink concentrated cranberry juice for a period of 3 days. You may continue consuming regular meals.
  • Apples and apple juice are very effective in detoxifying the body, specially the liver. Drink apple juice for 3 days. Eat normally, but drink only apple juice for one third of the day.
