Natural cures for puffy eyes

Under my eyes are puffy swollen areas along with a dark line that runs from the corner of my eyes down toward my cheek area. What home remedy could I implement to decrease or cure my problem?

Since cucumbers and potatoes have a very cooling effect on the eyes, they can also help reduce the puffiness that has been caused by crying. It is very common to see women or even men apply slices of cucumber and potato on their eyes, to help reduce the dark circles. However, adequate sleep and a nutritious diet also play a very important role in the treatment of dark circles. Hence, people should make sure that they consume a diet that is high in nutrients, vitamins and minerals. One of the most important factors in the cure of dark circles is getting at least 7 to 8 hours of proper sleep each day.
