How to remove dandruff? please tell

Dandruff is also called scurf and is the most common scalp-related problem. Dandruff is seen as white flakes near the scalp that resemble scales. Dandruff often falls off while brushing your hair. This type of dandruff is referred to as dry dandruff. The other type of dandruff is called oily dandruff and is seen as a thick layer of whitish-yellow matter that remains close to the scalp and is not easily disturbed. These two types of dandruff are very different and require different home remedies. Home remedies for dandruff may not be adequate if you have severe dandruff and then you may need to resort to a medicated shampoo to provide relief from the problem.

It has been observed that people with dandruff have certain micro-organisms within their scalp. While these micro-organisms are present on everyone's scalp, people with dandruff have a much larger amount of these organisms. This micro-organism is called Malassezia globosa and is a yeast by nature. Home remedies for dry dandruff would therefore include remedies that help to reduce the oiliness of the scalp as well as get rid of the yeast. Lemon juice and tomato juice are effective in dealing with this problem. You will need to extract fresh lemon juice and tomato juice and then mix equal quantities of the two. Add one drop of tea tree oil and three drops of olive oil to the juice and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Massage this mixture into your scalp and leave it on for approximately 1 hour before you wash your hair as usual. The lemon juice and citric juice help to provide a hostile environment for the yeast while the tea-tree oil, which is an effective fungicide, helps to eliminate it. You will need to cleanse your hair on a regular basis to ensure that your scalp is free of excess sebum and dandruff. If you have dry hair however, you will need to make sure that you do not strip your scalp of the little natural oils it possesses. In addition to this, you will also need to oil and massage your hair and scalp to prevent it from excessive drying. Mix a little fresh coconut water along with 2 drops of Margosa oil and 5 drops of almond oil. Mix these ingredients thoroughly and then apply the mixture to your scalp. Margosa has strong anti-fungal properties but is still very gentle on the hair.
