Mental tension is one of the biggest causes of high blood pressure or hypertension. So, firstly, don’t get anxious about the fact that you forgot your medicines at home. Also, it would be more helpful if you provided some more information on your condition.
Have you experience the symptoms of high blood pressure like palpitation, dizziness, breathlessness, and nervous tension if you skip your dosage of medication? In that case, maybe you need to take the rest of the day off and relax at home. Or then, if you do take medication on a daily basis and feel your blood pressure rising to a worrisome level, you can consult a doctor closest to your workplace, or get your medicines from a chemist.
Like mentioned before, try not be panic and be stressed about your condition. Slow deep breathing exercises may help you relax and bring the pressure down. Just take a long breath slowly and exhale it just as slowly. Do this a few times, especially if you start getting worked up about something. As for your food, you must already know that you must avoid consuming salt as much as possible. Avoid pickles and such condiments and also fried and oily food. Consuming fresh vegetable juices like carrots and spinach will be helpful too. You can also consume rice, as the content of fat, cholesterol, and salt is quite low in it. You must preferably have brown rice, as the calcium in it will soothe and relax the nervous system, thus getting rid of the symptoms of high blood pressure. Stick to a vegetarian diet as much as possible, as meat and eggs are both detrimental for someone suffering from high blood pressure. There are some more foods that will help in lowering your blood pressure. Garlic is one such product that can be consumed on a daily basis and also specifically when your pressure rises. Chew on two to three cloves of garlic. It will reduce contraction of the small arteries, slow down the pulse rate, and regularize the heart rhythm. It’s also helpful in getting rid of symptoms like dizziness and breathlessness. Vitamin P also prevents capillary fragility. You can find Vitamin P in lemon and grapefruit. Have fresh lime juice or grapefruit to control high blood pressure. More than anything just maintain a cheerful attitude. If you have any light music at your disposal, listen to it and relax.

Insufficient information regarding your blood pressure is provided. Try getting the medicine from a nearby chemist. Otherwise, take a break and go home immediately. Delay might necessitate your going home with somebody's help.
